The Struggle for Ethiopian Aliyah

Family Stories

Behind every number there is a name, a face, and a family. These are some of the stories of families living for years between Israel and Ethiopia — through video calls, longing, and waiting.

Some names have been changed at the families' request to protect their privacy.

These are sample stories — they will be replaced with the families' real testimonies.
